Sarah Jessica ParkerSARAH JESSICA PARKER's new film may be called 'Failure to Launch,' but the romantic comedy successfully took off Wednesday night at the movie's New York City premiere.

Rocketing into theaters everywhere tomorrow, 'Failure to Launch' teams Sarah Jessica Parker up with People magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" MATTHEW McCONAUGHEY.

The new flick finds Matthew McConaughey as Tripp, a man in his thirties whose parents are so anxious to get him to move out of the house, they fool him into meeting the girl of his dreams --- played by Sarah Jessica Parker.

"There's a growing phenomenon in this country of men living at home long past what is considered an appropriate age,"

explained Sarah Jessica Parker to our own COJO during a recent interview.

"My character Paula is hired by the parents to feign a romance, but this time it's Matthew McConaughey and so all the rules go out the window."

Follow up:

No stranger to romantic comedies, Matthew McConaughy previously romanced KATE HUDSON onscreen in 'How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days' and, before that, exchanged sparks with JENNIFER LOPEZ in 'The Wedding Planner.' Cojo says he was in awe of Matthew's good looks and bronzed bod, but wondered: Is he becoming the new GEORGE HAMILTON?

"We were shooting in New Orleans in the middle of summer, so you couldn't avoid being in the sun,"

Sarah Jessica Parker says,

"so his teeth only look whiter and his eyes only look more blue, if it's possible."

Helmed by 'Shanghai Noon' director TOM DEY, 'Failure to Launch' also stars KATHY BATES and sports personality TERRY BRADSHAW as Tripp's exasperated parents, as well as ZOOEY DESCHANEL ('Almost Famous'), BRADLEY COOPER ('Wedding Crashers') and JUSTIN BARTHA ('National Treasure').
