At last the wait is over, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise are now proud parents of a baby GIRL.
According to Tom Cruise's spokesman the little girl is to be called Suri.
Brooke Shields also had a baby girl in Los Angeles yesterday.
Katie Holmes who is 27 and Tom Cruise who is 43 are
joyously welcomed the arrival of a baby girl, Suri, today,"
said Paul Bloch, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes publicist.
Suri Cruise weighed 3.4 kilograms (7 pounds, 7 ounces)and was 50.8 centimeters (20 In) in length.

Suri has its origins in Hebrew meaning "Princess" or in Persian meaning "Red Rose".
