Katharine McPhee sang “I Have Nothing.” The song choice proved to be very ironic, because Katharine’s dress revealed that she has plenty. In fact, a button popped off and nearly revealed everything.
Randy Jackson said “It was way too big for you,” and amazingly said it while keeping a straight face.
Paula Abdul said “There were pitch problems.”
Simon Cowell said “By choosing that song, it is like coming out here and saying I’m as good as Whitney Houston, you’re not.”
