Peet became engaged to actor/writer David Benioff on July 19, 2005. Amanda has sensitive skin, and thus wears little or no makeup. Howard Stern has repeatedly and unexplainably made comments about her alluding to a personal animosity between the two of them. Many have speculated that it could have something to do with the time she spent on the set of Whipped with Stern's girlfriend Beth Ostrosky, who had a small role in the film, and/or the set of the movie she did with Stern's friend and co-worker Fred Norris, called Two Ninas. Some perceived poor treatment of one or both of them could explain Stern's mysterious problem with Peet.
