Katie Holmes Changes Her Name

Tom Cruise has decided that Katie Holmes will change her name to Kate.
After discussing the subject of names, the two decided her Christian name "Katie" sounded too young for a 27-year-old and she would now be known to friends and family as "Kate."
Tom says:
Katie is a young girl's name. Her name is Kate now – she's a child-bearing woman
Tom: Hey Katie, your name sounds too young.
Katie: O--Oh. Okay, Tom.
Tom: You're gonna be Kate from now on.
Katie: Okay, Tom. Whatever you say, Tom.
