Nicole Richie going to jail?
Nicole Richie was charged with driving under the influence (DUI) on December 11 after driving the wrong way along a Californian freeway.
The case would normally go to the city attorney office but the case has now been asked to be reviewed at the district attorney office.
This is not good news for Nicole Richie.
When the Californian Highway Patrol (CHP)arrested Nicole Richie she admitted to police she had taken the strong painkiller Vicodin and smoked marijuana.
According to the Post Chronical, If charges are filed against Nicole Richie a hearing will be scheduled for February 7 and if convicted, Nicole's chances of a jail sentence are further increased because of a previous DUI charge in 2002.
California law states that a repeat offence carries the mandatory jail sentence of five days and the offender should have their driving licence suspended for one year.
So it looks like she could be doing a few days behind bars.
Will she ever learn.. Dont Drink And Drive.. not even a sip !!
