American Idol - Best Show Ever - Eliminations 25th April.


Ryan Seacrest had said on Tuesday nights show that....

“Tomorrow is going to be an extraordinary night, containing one of the biggest shocks we’ve ever had on American Idol.”

Ryan Seacrest also said...

“A duet you will have to see to believe when two of the biggest stars in musical history come together on our stage.”

Well it was a start studded event with the biggest one being Celine Dion singing with Elvis Presley. I got to say it was FANTASTIC. It is amazing how they did it.

Over 70 million votes had been cast, setting a new world record for any TV show.

Stars included Ellen DeGeneres, Earth, Wind, & Fire, Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Ill Divo, Josh Groban backed by the African Children’s Choir, Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson. Ohh also the King, Elvis Presley.


As usual Ryan Seacrest kept everyone waiting to see who was in and who was getting the boot from American Idol.


Throught the show Ryan Seacrest had asked the contestants to stand and telling them if they were safe of not.


First Ryan Seacrest asked Melinda Doolittle to stand up and told her that she was safe.
Then Ryan Seacrest asked Blake Lewis to stand and told him he was safe.

Then he told Phil Stacey to stand and told him that he was safe.
Later on Ryan Seacrest then asked Lakisha Jones to stand and told her that she was safe leaving Chris Richardson and Jordin Sparks. Probebly the two strongest contestants on the show, but Ryan did say they he was calling them up in no particular order.


For the final results, Ryan Seacrest asked Chris Richardson and Jordin Sparks to stand up and revealed that Chris Richardson was safe. Man, I was shocked, I could not believe it. Jordin Sparks getting eliminated out of American Idol. Then after talking about how shocking it was, Ryan Seacrest revealed that Jordin Sparks was also safe. Ryan Seacrest explained that this week’s votes would be added to next week’s vote and the bottom two would be sent home next week.


I think there would have been a massive uproar if Jordin Sparks was sent home last night. I do feel really sorry for her, it must have been a heart stopping moment when there was her and Chris standing and he told Chris he was safe. Jordin's heart must have dropped out big time and when the camera's went to her parent's they were shouting with shock until Ryan put them out of there worst nightmare.
