Lindsay Lohan Does Community Service.

Lindsay Lohan was doing her service to the community by the order of the court. Lindsay Lohan had the option of serving four days in jail or two days in jail and ten days of community service for her second DUI conviction. Lindsay Lohan picked the two days in jail and ten days community service.
Lindsay Lohan was spotted yesterday at an American Red Cross blood services facility in an L.A. suburb. Lindsay Lohan arrived around noon and she was greeted by staff in the parking lot before walking into the building. When Lindsay Lohan left the facility around 7 p.m. she carried a book sparsely titled "BLOOD".
It has to be better for the country, tax payer and also the convicted to do community service rather than them sitting in jail costing the tax payer money.

Having been involved with drugs and institutions since I was 12 years old (now 55) I know Lindsay has a rough road ahead of her. I sincerely wish her good luck. From my personal experience I know some people (very few) can change if they want to. She has the resources at hand, including a family that will support her, so she does have a fighting chance. Taking the 2 days in jail and 10 days community service was a good move, it will give her a taste of what will come if she can't grab onto a recovery program. None of us (drug addicts) think we need it or that we're as bad as the other guy. That way of thinking gets us stuck in that revolving door of in and out of jail until we just settle into a grave. To stay straight some of us believe we only need one meeting a week, but we don't know which meeting we need so we'll go to at least one meeting a day or maybe two a day just to be sure we don't miss the one we really need. We sure managed to find a dealer as often as we needed to, so we can certainly find a meeting using that same energy. I enjoy Lindsay's movies, they're cute, no violence, no vulgarity, nothing offensive. They take me away from my real world. Since drug addicts are selfish people my selfishness wants her to stay straight because I look forward to her next movies. So good luck young lady my hope for you is that you choose to live a sane and peaceful life.
