TMZ published an image said to be the "Umbrella" singer, Rihanna in the aftermath of the fracas, showing her badly bruised and damaged face. TMZ will not disclose how they came to be in possession of it but the Los Angeles Police Department are understood to be naturally alarmed by the leak.

In the statement, they said the
"unauthorised release of a domestic violence photography immediately generated an internal investigation"
confirming it was "considered serious misconduct with penalties up to and including termination". The LAPD also confirmed that the photo "has the appearance" of one used during a domestic violence investigation, while many commentators have speculated that the injuries are consistent with those reportedly suffered by Rihanna.
Looks like some dude is going to get the sack...if he gets caught.
Earlier another picture was release, but it seems to be a fake.
