Katharine McPhee Had Bulimia
Katharine McPhee, the American Idol runner up has revealed that just before she appeared on the American Idol show, she enrolled at Los Angeles's Eating Disorder Center of California.
Katharine McPhee spent three months undergoing group and individual therapy for bulimia. Katharine McPhee had the therapy six days a week.
Every day Katharine McPhee says that some days she was being sick up to seven times a day and knew she had to get treatment or it could ruin her life and her ability to sing forever.
When I made it onto American Idol, I knew that food - my eating disorder - was the one thing really holding me back,"
she says.
