Shilpa Shetty speaks out.


Shilpa Shetty the winner of Celebrity Big Brother in the UK said that the racist bullying in the house was not a battle of race, but between "right and wrong".


Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Shilpa Shetty said..

"I'd no idea it was so bad. They are so mean. Why didn't someone stop them? It hurts me deeply. Look at me ... I am shaking."

Shilpa Shetty continued to say...

"Bullies Jade Goody and Jo O'Meara must seek "professional help" to overcome their problems."

"This is so petty, so juvenile, so nasty. There is hatred there and that hurts deeply. Only now, this is sinking in. I am someone who has never been judgmental, but Jade's behavior is obnoxious, very aggressive, nasty and suffocating."

Shilpa Shetty also said that it was not a battle between brown and white. It was a battle between right and wrong. And right won. And she is correct, I dont like Jade Goody anyway.


Nowadays, you cant say or do anything when you disagree with someone of a different colour or race. I think it is getting out of hand.

It's been revealed that Bollywood beauty Shilpa Shetty hasn't had it easy when trying to carve out a career for herself.


The 31 year old star talked to Cleo and H earlier about her battle to keep her "fame" in India and is quoted as saying in the Sun newspaper:

“After my first film I was dubbed as ‘the next big thing’.

"But the media turned on me and there were times I hardly got any work. They said things like I wore too much make-up."

The actress insists that her make - up artist was responsible.


Jobs were also thin on the ground during her relationship with fellow Bollywood idol Akshay Kumar.


Those making films didn't want to cast her due to the fact she wasn't "marketable" as somebody attainable to movie-goers.


However Shilpa Shetty appeared grateful when she disclosed:

"In the last two years things have changed. Everything is a lot more open".

Shilpa Shetty is currently the favourite to win celebrity big brother.

Celebrity Big Brother - Day 21- Dirk Dishes The Dirt On The ladies.


Dirk has divulged his shock at some of the ladies profanity in the House.

"It took me a few days to realise what kind of character Danielle was, it was kind of shocking,"

he commented in the Diary Room earlier.

"She's so pretty and sweet but she talks like a truck driver! It's quite funny to hear it come out of her."

However, despite this, Dirk has found the young WAG likeable.

"I thought she was some kind of beauty queen... maybe a bit stupid but pretty and sweet,"

he continued.

"But she's very down to earth. I've worked with beautiful girls who are very distant and rely on their beauty but she doesn't do that. She's one of the guys."

She definitely swears like a trooper, as Mr Benedict described:

"She says f*** every other word, and worse."

"I f****** won't do it, I'm f****** gonna lose my f****** head."

"Women don't talk like that where I live, even in the pub," disclosed the legendary telly actor, before also stating: "Jermaine was speechless at the profanity."

In today's Sun it reports that Nikki Grahame from Big Brother has landed a series on E4.


'Princess Nikki' will pitch her into a variety of 'proper' jobs, offering her a prize if she lasts for a day in each.


Cleaner and bin woman have already been suggested for Nikki Grahame, although I'm sure you can think of a few more.


Looks like a Simple Life rip off to me.

Everyone is up for eviction except Janye Kitt. The big brother contestants gathered in the living room yesterday (10.07.06) preparing to nominate as usual, when Big Brother called Jayne to the Diary Room.




Big Brother told Jayne Kitt:

“Since entering the house you have broken the Big Brother rules by talking about the outside world. Big Brother has warned you that breaking this rule would result in punishment."

“You have let yourself down, you've let Big Brother down but most importantly you've let your fellow housemates down.”

As Big Brother read out a list of rules Jayne Kitt had broken, the whole house was watching on a plasma screen.


Big Brother added:

"As a result of this rule breaking ALL your fellow housemates will face the public vote this week. You, however, will be the only housemate who will NOT face eviction on Friday (14.07.06)."

Jayne Kitt desperately tried to reason with Big Brother, insisting it was unfair to punish the other housemates for her mistakes


She left the Diary Room shaking as Nikki Grahame and Michael rushed to comfort her.


In an attempt to make amends, Jayne told the house:

“I’m so sorry, I’ll make you tea all week.”

The seventh housemate will be evicted live on Friday (14.07.06). Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace is the early favourite to leave the house, followed by arch enemy Nikki Grahame.
