As you know, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz got married in a private ceremony at an estate in Santa Barbara on Saturday, May 17th. It has been reported that People Magazine paid $1 million for the pictures.

People magazine did say...

Yeah, right.. celebs only want the money, they go to whoever pays them the most. If I offered them $1.1 million they would have used me..

Reps for Ashlee Simpson said they had no immediate comment on the report. Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have been romantically linked since 2006. Pete Wentz plays bass in the band Fall Out Boy.
