Heather Mills McCartney was on a British TV morning show, GMTV and she broke down crying saying that she considered suicide due to all the negative attention directed toward her family. Well Heather, in this life you create your own. You were apparently offered a shit load of money to walk away, more than you would probably ever make and you were greedy by wanting more.

"They've called me a whore and a gold-digger"

Well Heather !! thats what you are !! maybe the whore is a bit strong but gold-digger is one that i think everyone would agree on.
