The winner for the Oscar 2008 Actor In A Supporting Role goes to Javier Bardem for No Country for Old Men.

Javier Bardem said....

Wow. Alright, this is very amazing. It's a great honor for me to have this. I want to& I have to speak fast here, man. Thank you to the Coens for being crazy enough to think that I could do that and put one of the most horrible haircuts in history over my head.

Thank you for really proving my work. I want to share this with the cast, with the great Tommy Lee Jones, with the great Josh Brolin, with the great Kelly MacDonald. And I want to dedicate this to my mother, and I have to say this in Spanish, and I'm sorry...

Javier Bardem then spoke in spanish and, sorry, my spanish is not to hot.

They did say that No Country for Old Men would get a lot of awards tonight.

Javier Bardem bet Casey Affleck, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Hal Holbrook and Tom Wilkinson.

FILM SYNOPSIS of No Country for Old Men

When Llewellyn Moss comes upon a corpse-strewn drug-deal-gone-wrong in the middle of the barren West Texas range, he takes the bag of cash he finds at the scene and soon draws the attention of the county sheriff investigating the crime. Sheriff Bell will become Llewellyn's best hope for survival, however, when he finds himself the object of a relentless pursuit by hired killer Anton Chigurh, a murderous sociopath.
