Kate Winslet has been tipped to receive an Oscar for her role in the new film Little Children.
Kate Winslet plays a young mother trapped in suburbia and embarks on an affair with a young father.
In a BBC interview Kate Winslet said..
"I think it's destructive and pointless to worry about the success of a movie or worry about what people will say about it - or whether it gets Academy Award nominations."
Kate Winslet has had four Oscar nominations but has not yet taken one home. Maybe this will be her chance...
