Jenna Bush, The Presidents Daughter
Barbara Pierce Bush and Jenna Welch Bush were born November 25, 1981, in Dallas, Texas and are the fraternal twin daughters of U.S. president George W. Bush and Laura Bush. Barbara Bush is the elder sister to Jenna Bush. They are arguably the first First Twins, as the first twin children of a sitting President.
Jenna Bush is named after her maternal grandmother and attended the University of Texas at Austin. According to Reader's Digest, Jenna Bush "has followed in her mother's footsteps and is teaching at a Washington, D.C. public school."
Middle School and High School
Upon their father's induction into the office of Governor of Texas in 1994, Jenna Bush and Barbara Bush attended St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Austin, Texas. In 1996, Jenna Bush and Barbara Bush began attending Stephen F. Austin High School, graduating with the class of 2000. Jenna Bush and Barbara Bush elected to attend separate universities after graduation, with Jenna Bush remaining in Austin to attend the University of Texas, and Barbara Bush following her father's legacy at Yale University.
