Glamour model Alicia Douvall had her first holiday romance in Tenerife with former Blue hunk Lee Ryan, but unfortunately things went pear-shaped when Lee Ryan discovered Alicia Douvall had initially pretended to be an Italian tourist to avoid speaking to him!


In addition to the loveable Lee Ryan, Alicia Douvall’s glitzy lifestyle has paired her up with numerous high profile partners, including Simply Red Romeo Mick Hucknall, music mogul P Diddy, and ex-sporting giant Dennis Rodman, her former fiancé with whom she split 18 months ago.


Citing Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles as her ideal man, Alicia Douvall feels that a potential partner’s most important trait is the ability to make her laugh.

“I don’t go for looks at all. I go for bubbly characters and people who are a little bit quirky and different,” she says.

And keeping preened and well made up for her plight to bag such a boy on the Island is the most pressing thing on the buxom blond’s mind.

“I love being on camera, but being filmed without full make-up and false eyelashes is a bit worrying.”

During an evening meal, all the 'Love Island' contestants bonded together and even became emotional as they shared information about themselves.

Soon Lee talked about his feelings, as Kelle Bryan enquired about his lack of confidence. The former Hollyoaks star told her:

"Only a couple of people know this...I just think sometimes my mum and dad raised me to the best of their abilities and I don't think that was good enough. They do a lot for me. I’ve had no-one to turn to. I’m an only child; I never had anyone there at all."

"I've always had to make my own way and own friends. I’m good at meeting new people. Deep down I want to be liked by people. If I’m not, my heart sinks,"

the 24-year-old added.


Lee's revelations later prompted Sophie Anderton to share some deep emotions of her own.


Talking about their past habits of turning to alcohol during tough patches, Sophie Anderton said:

"In difficult times, you don’t have to turn to alcohol. I used to do that. It's not the way to deal with problems. I used to drink a bottle of vodka every night. I feel comfortable talking to you. But looking at the bottom of a vodka bottle won’t help. You will never find the true you.”

"The whole celebrity thing can suck you dry and I still don’t have it down pat. People say 'she’s just a junky model'. Even now, with the work I’m doing, it’s not the be-all-and-end-all. I have been stripped down naked in the last couple of days. Rejection scares the s**t out of me,"
