Michelle Obama and Barack Obama Dance At Inaugural Ball.

It was a historic day for America and the world as Barack Obama became the President of the United States of America. But after the inauguration the first couple, Michele Obama and President Barack Obama had to attend 10 inaugural balls.

The first was the "Neighborhood Ball" and they danced to the Etta James classic "At Last" sung by Beyonce.

President Barack Obama wore a white tie and dinner suit, while stunning Michelle Obama shimmered in a white, one-shouldered, floor-length gown. It was embellished from top to bottom with white floral details and made by 26-year-old New York designer Jason Wu. What a boost for the young fashion designer Jason Wu.

Barack Obama asked the crowd....

"First of all, how good looking is my wife?"

The crowed roared with joy..

They then started to do a slow two step dance to Beyonce to mark the end of a long day of formal inaugural events and the two-year campaign that put them in the White House.

At the other ball's, Barack Obama started to let loose dancing to Shakira, Mary J. Blige, Faith Hill and Mariah Carey sang along with Stevie Wonder to his "Signed, Sealed, Delivered."

Jamie Foxx joked....

"You could tell that's a black president from the way he was moving"

Michelle Obama Staying In A $13,000 A Day Hotel.

While president elect Barack Obama and first lady, Michelle Obama move to Washington they are staying in the historic Hay-Adams hotel. Barack Obama and Michelle Obama requested to use Blair House, the guest wing of the White House, until his inauguration on January 20. But they were refused as it is being used to with friends of the Bushes.

Not to worry though the Hay-Adams hotel overlooks the presidential mansion. It is thought that the taxpayer and the transition committee will split the $13k a day bill. A lot of money if you ask me..

It is not normal for an incoming president and first lady to move so early, but Michelle Obama did not want ten-year-old Malia and seven-year-old Sasha to miss their first day at the city's exclusive Sidwell Friends School.
