Nicole Richie Hospitalised





Nicole Richie was rushed to hospital for dehydration on Friday after she fell ill while filming the new season of her reality show The Simple Life with Paris Hilton.


A doctor on the set of The Simple Life examined Nicole Richie and she was then taken straight to a nearby hospital for treatment.


Nicole Richie was give intravenous fluids for 15 minutes and then she was released.


Nicole Richie's rep said..

"Nicole is home resting and will return to work this evening. We are proud of the weight that Nicole is gaining and her focus on her health."

1 Night in Paris is an unauthorized sex videoof Paris Hilton with her then-boyfriend Rick Salomon, who leaked it onto the Internet. It was released shortly before The Simple Life debuted, hence causing a sensation. Paris Hilton sued Rick Salomon for releasing the tape.


In July, the suit was settled, with Paris Hilton receiving $400,000 and a percentage of the profits. All profits she received from the video were donated to charity. The original video, and a rip of the DVD, are still circulating on the Internet. The video received the AVN Awards in 2005 for "Best Selling Title of the Year," "Best Renting Title of the Year" and "Best Overall Marketing Campaign – Individual Project."


1 Night in Paris is distributed by Red Light District, a production company which produces and distributes pornographic videos. 1 Night in Paris is unique in the field of celebrity porn because the company that produced it has a good working relationship with one of the stars, Rick Salomon, who even does intros to each sex scene in the video. It is also one of the most explicit celebrity sex vids, as well as Hilton interrupting sex to answer her mobile phone, which led to a number of parodies.

Nicole Richie sparked outrage while filming the new series of 'The Simple Life' by crudely asking an 11-year-old boy if she was a 'MILF'.


Nicole Richie, the sexy star approached the youngster as she pushed a baby carriage along his street, in the Castaic neighbourhood of Los Angeles, and asked him the lewd question.


When the puzzled boy told Nicole Richie he didn't know what she meant, she replied:

"It means a 'Mother I'd like to f***.'"

Two cameramen and another film crew recorded the impromptu exchange.


The boy's shocked father, who heard the entire conversation, was left fuming and refused to sign consent forms allowing the clip to be used. He has now reportedly complained to the show's production company, Bunim-Murray Productions.

His mother said:

"I'm 90 percent mad but a little part of me says, 'Stop being a prude.' I guess I just don't want my son to grow up that fast."

Nicole Richie and former best friend Paris Hilton are currently shooting the fourth series of the popular reality show - but because of their feud neither will appear on camera together at the same time.

In February of 2003, Nicole Richie was arrested in Malibu, California, and charged with possession of heroin. She has since been through rehab.

"It's no big secret that Nicole and I are no longer friends," and "Nicole knows what she did, and that's all I'm ever going to say about it."

A circulating rumor involved a story that Nicole had shown Paris' sex tape at a party. There were also rumors of Paris Hilton being jealous of Nicole's rising star. Nicole Richie is still friends with Paris' sister Nicky, who was to serve as a bridesmaid at Nicole's wedding until it was called off in December, 2005. Recently, Nicole has spoken out about Paris. She has said that

there was never a real falling out, that she and Paris have just drifted apart and haven't been friends for about two years.

Nicole Richie has also said she doesn't see herself making up with Paris Hilton and that if they were to meet "at a mall or something, we would just not talk."
