Gwen Stafani to boycott the Video Music Awards.


It has been reported that Gwen Stafani is going to boycott the MTV Video Music Awards. Gwen Stafani is doing it because at last years VMA's (Video Music Awards)she only walked away with two minor awards.


Gwen Stefani was so unhappy with the snub she received from MTV last year, she is refusing to attend this years show.


Gwen Stafani was nominated for six awards but she was stunned when Kelly Clarkson, American Idol Winner, beat her in most of the categories.


Gwen Stafani picked up Best Choreography for Hollaback Girl and Best Art Direction for What You Waiting For.


An insider says,

“She had a ton of nominations and was under the impression she would be taking home at least one main award. But every award went to Kelly Clarkson, and every time Kelly won, the camera went straight to Gwen. She felt set up.”

I think even being nominated should be an honor. If you are going to snub an award show then you should not be able to be nominated.
